In reality many individuals state there is a lot more than two genders, but if two choices are either “similar if you ask me” or “different for me” then we think it is clear that “both” can make reference to those two choices in place of two identified sexes.

So just why n’t have that as our “please follow this meaning” meaning? Well, then it’s entirely possible to be attracted to more than one gender that isn’t like your own, and not fancy your own at all if there’s more than two genders and some people are no gender, or multiple. Attraction to multiple sex does not mean there’s the one that you need to fancy or otherwise. Therefore we prefer the ease and addition of ‘more than one’.
